All the conversations between attendees at the recent AMCP meeting went the same: what do you think the Supreme Court will do, will Romney get elected, and what effect will the Accountable Care Act have on your company? (and your job). These subjects are to be expected, but I’m not sure how they are related. The court’s findings may be a very mixed decision, with the individual mandate ruled unconstitutional, the rest of the law in place. Whether Romney is elected or not, most of the ACA “reforms” are likely to progress in one form or another.

But the issue of healthcare reform itself makes for a lousy election issue…too complex for the average (and above average) voter to know what opinions to have to make a decision. The Keystone Pipeline-simple; we need oil, build a pipeline. Where can someone go to get unbiased opinions on healthcare reform? I’m still looking for that source.
